'nove águas' Cuevana3.io - Brazil, 1930. Marcos and his family (descendants of slaves) left the Jequitinhonha Valley for the Mucuri Valley. Fleeing from the drought, hunger and violence in the countryside, the "quilombolas" sought a new territory to build their community. Decades later, when everything seems to be in peace, a huge construction company wants to build a dam in Marques' territory.
